Handmade Cacao Chocolates

Ingredients

250g cacao butter, chopped or shaved
50 g
cacao liquid love blend powder

50g cacao powder (or use all Love Blend) 

pinch of natural sea salt (important)
100g *coconut sugar or maple syrup or you can try 50 - 50 with Lucuma (this will give a more ‘milky’ taste) 

30g coconut oil (Optional makes it softer)
Pinch of vanilla powder or 3 to 4 drops vanilla essence 


Method

1. Add the Cacao Butter (& coconut oil if using) in a stainless or glass mixing bowl.

2. Melt on a very low heat over a double boiler very slowly, being careful not to exceed 42degrees if you want to keep your chocolate in its raw state. (use a thermometer) 

3. Mix in the rest of the ingredients once the fat is in a liquid state. And take off the heat. 

4. From here you can add Food Grade Essential Oils if you would like a
specific flavour. e.g orange, ginger, mint, rose

5. Pour the mix into silicone chocolate moulds and set in the fridge for approx 15/20mins

6. Pop them out and there you have your very own healthy chocolates 

7. Get creative and have some fun....
*if you grind the coconut sugar down so its similar to caster sugar the chocolate will be less grainy.
