Golden Peanut Smoothie Bowl
Have you tried smoothie bowls? Basically its a great way to make a nutrient dense breakfast or even as a pudding or mid afternoon snack. Just blend the ingredients and serve in a bowl and top with delicious extras.
It not only changes the way you consume smoothies, but is an excellent way for replacing other breakfast things like toast or cereal, whilst providing the nutrients our bodies need to feel satiated.
This recipe uses our Golden Chocolate Chai Blend No2 which is a blend of Raw Cacao, Turmeric, Black Pepper and Chai Spices. The ingredients themselves are so calming to the body and help promote healthy gut bacteria, the turmeric being anti-inflammatory along with the many benefits of raw cacao your body will love you for filling your tummy with pure goodness.
Golden Peanut Smoothie Bowl
1 tbsp of Golden Chocolate Chai
2 frozen bananas for the creamy texture
spoonful of peanut butter
pinch of salt
drizzle of maple or honey
1/2 a cup of coconut milk or water
topped with granola, coconut, chia seeds and star fruit (add whatever you fancy)
Add all the ingredients (apart from the toppings) to a blender & whizz til smooth. Pile into a bowl and add your toppings.
n.b. not keen on peanut butter? switch to almond or hazelnut butter
